Our first nine episodes focus on cooks from the new homemade meal cooperative, MealKu. How to make Sorry for Kate (Pasta Casserole) Ingredients: 2 cups uncooked pasta 2 14.5 oz cans of diced tomatoes 2 small (8oz?) cans of tomato sauce 1 whole block of cheddar cheese, grated. Preheat oven to 350 Cook pasta according to package instructions & drain. Combine pasta, diced tomatoes, sauce & shredded cheese in a big bowl. Mix. Pour pasta mixture into a 2.5 or 3 quart casserole dish. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

Mere Minutes: Making fresh tomatillo salsa and tomato salsa
Just a short video on what I’ve been doing with some of the stuff I’ve been growing this summer. Here are two of my favorite types of salsas. For the first one, I used fresh tomatillos from my garden to make a tangy green tomatillo salsa. The second half of the video shows my simple method for tomato salsa that I make at least once a week. I can easy chop up a batch in about 5 minutes. I used my heirloom tomatoes for this batch: what a different home-grown tomatoes makes. Wow; so tasty. The music is from friendlymusic.com. It’s a song called “Salsa”. I like it because it sounds like Mexican Bollywood!
