home brewing airlock in action
i made my own airlock with a bottle and some tubing , it works great. the airlock will start bubbling when the yeast has started to activate and this can take a day sometimes and depending on outside temperature and the temperature of the brew when the yeast was added will dictate how the yeast reacts . i like to add my yeast to the batch when the temp is just below steaming. ive found the airlock will begin to work within an hour or so in most cases and i dont need to go to the effort of airating with oxygen to speed up the process.

Drinks Made Easy Presents-How to make a Beerita for Labor Day 2012. Nothing beats a nice cold Beerita to finish out the summer as we move into the fall. Football is getting started and the beer will be flowing. Why not get creative with your run of the mill brew by making it a margarita or Beerita. To make this drink you will need the following Corona Extra or any lager of your choice 1 1/2 oz. of Tequila 1/4 cup of frozen Limeade a Lime Wedge Garnish First, in your salted rim beer glass filled with ice, pour your Corona (or lager). Try not to let the head get too high. If it does, let it settle for a minute. Next, pour your 1 1/2 oz. of tequila. You can choose whichever one you want but we don’t recommend using any of the “top shelf” tequilas. Final

How to build a custom 10 player poker table. I would say I spent around $200.00 or less for this project. I have made this table using 1/2 inch MDF board from Home Depot. I used 1 – 4′ x 8′ sheet. This is my first time building anything like this. For a couple hundred bucks I think it came out good. I have plans to build a larger one piece deluxe poker table top. I will start on this starting in late Jan. 2013. I had a lot fun design and building this table. It was just something that I decided to do on the spur of the moment.
